SolidPhase has over fifty years' experience in the development and
improvement of immunoassays. We have taken an extensive variety of
products from the initial marketing concept through 510(k) submission
and approval. This experience has covered the full range from antibody
production and purification to the technical support of products well
established in the market.
We have either
developed or worked as a custom manufacturer for others during the
development of products based on RIA, IRMA, EIA, ELISA and
chemiluminescent technologies. We have experience with the use of
historical separation techniques such as talc, charcoal and double
antibody assays as well as with a variety of solid-phase supports such
as tubes, beads, microtiter plates and membranes with immobilized
antigens or antibodies.

SolidPhase has several decades of experience in the radiolabelling of antigens and antibodies. Incorporation techniques include chloramine-T, lactoperoxidase, and Bolton-Hunter methodologies. Depending upon the material being iodinated, final purification can be achieved via size exclusion or reverse phase HPLC, TLC, ion exchange or gel chromatography.
